Simon Kabu, the Chief Executive Officer of Bonfire Adventures, has officially finalised his divorce with Sarah Mtalii, declaring that he is now legally single.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Kabu reflected on more than 15 years of hard work and said he is ready to slow down and enjoy life through travel and exploration.

“Now that I’m officially and legally single and having worked very, very hard over 15 years, I now need to relax a bit, travel, and explore the world. But, not alone… I’m looking for my fans whom we can be travelling together with to explore the world as we learn (men, ladies and families),” he stated.

Launch of ‘Travel With Simon Kabu’

Kabu announced the formation of a travel club that will allow his fans to join him on trips to various destinations.

The club, accessible through WhatsApp and a dedicated Facebook page titled Travel With Simon Kabu, promises exclusive travel deals and opportunities for members to explore new destinations alongside him.

Sarah Mtalii Speaks on Divorce

The announcement comes weeks after Sarah Mtalii opened up about the emotional toll of divorce.

In a YouTube interview on January 17, 2026, she compared the pain of divorce to the pain of death, saying women often go through it alone and without adequate support.

“When a woman is going through a divorce, the support cannot support you,” she said.
“You know divorce is as hard as death.”

According to her, society does not treat divorce with the same seriousness as bereavement.

“Venye mtu akikufiwa, watu wanajaa kwa nyumba wana grieve with the person,” she explained, noting that when someone dies, people gather to mourn together—unlike in cases of divorce.
