Salvation Healing Ministry founder Victor Kanyari has announced that social media personality Marion Naipei will no longer serve as a Bible reader in the church.
The announcement was made during a midweek service held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Kanyari Explains Decision
Speaking to congregants, Pastor Kanyari said the decision was reached following recent controversies surrounding Marion Naipei’s conduct.
Under the new arrangement, Naipei will now sit at the back of the church as church leadership continues offering her spiritual and emotional support.
Church Says It Will Continue Supporting Her
Kanyari emphasized that the ministry remains committed to supporting Naipei despite the changes in her role within the church.
According to the preacher, the church has continued assisting her with financial needs, including rent support.
He urged members of the congregation to show compassion instead of condemnation.
“Isolating her is not good,” Kanyari told worshippers.
“Church Is a Place of Restoration”
The Salvation Healing Ministry founder maintained that the church exists to help people facing personal struggles and challenges.
He stressed that places of worship should focus on restoration and guidance rather than judgment.
The development has since sparked discussion online, with social media users expressing mixed reactions over the church’s handling of the matter.
