Kisumu; 21 year old man hacked to death in fight over a woman on Christmas Eve

Police in Kisumu have arrested four men who hacked a 21-year-old man to death over a woman on Christmas Eve.

John Ouma was walking home at 10 pm on Saturday night in Tamu location , Muhoroni when the four suspects who had earlier on had an altercation with him, trailed him and descended on him with kicks and blows.

The deceased had deep cuts on his right thigh, elbow, back, buttocks, right ear, and the right hand was chopped off from the wrist.

County police commander Alphonse Kimanthi said that police had arrested James Agumba, David Ochieng, Bildad Otieno and Nelson Mandela as the key suspects.

The suspects are in custody at Chemelil Police Station in Muhoroni Sub County. The body was taken to Othoo funeral home.

Kimanthi said the suspects will be taken to court on Wednesday to be charged with murder.
