Amazon owner Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife MacKenzie Scott is single again divorcing from chemistry teacher Dan Jewett less than two years after the two got married.
The pair announced their marriage in March 2021, two years after Scott, 52, divorced her first husband Bezos. She is said to have received $34 million from Bezos which she pledged to use for charity.
Bezos is the fourth-richest person on Earth according to Forbes, which puts his worth at $112.4 billion. Scott was the world’s richest woman in 2020, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index. She’s now worth nearly $20 billion, making her the 73rd wealthiest person alive.
