A 28-year-old woman tragically died after jumping off the balcony of her third-floor apartment in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

The incident took place around 5:50 am, as reported by the caretaker of the apartment block who promptly notified the police.

According to police reports, the deceased, identified as Nelvin Museti, lived alone in the apartment.

“The scene was visited by the Deputy OCS, Duty Officer, and DCI Lang’ata, and the body of the deceased, a 28-year-old Luhya female adult, was found lying dead at the back of the apartments, about 1.5 kilometers north of the station,” the police report stated.

Crime scene personnel processed the area, revealing that the body had no physical injuries but showed signs of blood oozing from the nose. Subsequently, the body was transported to the City Mortuary.

Neighbors were alerted to the incident during the early hours by a loud thud, and they gathered at the scene before the arrival of the police.

Authorities have initiated investigations into the tragic incident.
