Car dealer Khalif Kairo has been exposed as a toxic boss in a leaked WhatsApp chat from his office group.
The controversial car dealer used condescending language while warning his employees from associating with a former staff member whom he called a ‘prostitute’.
According to Kairo, the former employee was getting information about what was happening in the company through a member of his current staff.
“Soni is a shameless prostitute who I picked from the lowest bowels of trash and gave an opportunity at Kai and Karo to try and better herself when everyone including her mother had given up on her,” Kairo told his employees.
And in his usual manner he invoked the name of God, warning those who will not listen to him that they will be forced out of his company in the worst circumstances.
“Please respect yourselves and don’t allow yourselves to be used to undermine the work that God is doing here,” he warned.
Three weeks ago, Kairo found himself in another controversy after Kenyans online claimed that he was selling a written-off car from the UK.
The controversy emerged when social media users, prompted by @Cyprian_is_Nyakundi, investigated the vehicle’s history.
The Ford Mustang (5.0 V8 GT Fastback Euro 6 2dr) was found to have been listed on British dealerships like AutoTrader and Car Vertical in the CAT (S) salvage category, indicating it had previously been written off due to a structural blow to the chassis.
Addressing the allegations on social media, Kairo acknowledged the mistake, admitting that his company should have done a better job ensuring that the vehicles they import have no repair or damage history.
Regarding the Ford Mustang post, Kairo stated, “Mistakes happen. We cannot possibly verify all cars before we post since we list many cars a day. Please forgive us for this small mistake, and had you inquired about the car, the error would have been detected through our quality control. Apologies.”
Kairo shifted blame to his enemies and bloggers, asserting that their attempts to tarnish his reputation will not succeed. He highlighted that despite various allegations in the past, no customer has accused him of scams or wrongdoing.
“If Kaiandkaro was a struggling company, we wouldn’t face this much opposition. It’s only bloggers pushing their own agenda. They accused me of being involved in illegal activities, but it didn’t stick. Now that they see the companies are doing well, they want to redirect the energy towards us. Again, it won’t work,” he declared.
According to Kairo, the news represents a challenge that he will overcome, emphasizing personal growth and resilience. He contrasted his current mindset with his past.
“The biggest mistake my old enemies make is assuming they’re dealing with the old Kairo—naive, immoral, young, not focused, and a simp. The new Kairo is a focused man who prays every day, does 100 press-ups, and has God on his side. He is indestructible and now operates at a very high level.”
