A warehouse manager, Hussein Ismail Godad, faced charges in front of Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Benard Ochoi on Friday, accused of pilfering products worth over Ksh. 67.5 million from Medina Chemicals Limited.
Godad, an employee of the company, pleaded not guilty to the charges, which allege that he stole animal health products valued at Ksh. 67,513,761 from a warehouse in Nairobi.
According to the prosecution, Godad acquired possession of the products due to his employment at the company.
The court granted Godad release on a bond of Ksh. 500,000 or a cash bail alternative of Ksh. 200,000.
The case is scheduled for mention on February 29.
