Revellers at the popular Quiver Lounge on Thika Road had a narrow escape from a potential tragedy on Sunday night when a section of the building collapsed during heavy rains.
A video circulating on social media shows the chaotic scene as patrons hurriedly vacated the packed entertainment joint after a part of the structure collapsed.
Fortunately, there were no major casualties reported, although the DJ sustained some injuries.
The Sunday night reggae event hosted by Moh Spice Deejays had to be abruptly halted, and patrons were asked to leave.
This incident adds to the ongoing challenges caused by heavy rains across the country, leading to significant property damage and loss of lives.
