A manager at a supermarket in Naivasha town, Hassan Salim, 38, was found dead in a suspected robbery incident. His body was discovered in his house, lying in a pool of blood.
Salim, who had left his job at a mall in Naivasha on Tuesday evening, was found dead the following day. Concerned colleagues, who had noticed his absence from work and unresponsiveness to calls, decided to check on him at his residence in the Musaka complex building within Naivasha Township.
Upon arrival, they found his house locked from the inside with a padlock and noticed blood spots on the door. The police were called and, after breaking down the door, found Salim’s body on the bedroom floor, with multiple deep cuts on his head. Authorities suspect he was attacked either in his house or on his way home. The body has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy as investigations continue.
