Juja Member of Parliament George Koimburi was allegedly seized by unidentified individuals on Sunday outside a church in Mugutha, Kiambu County, amid growing concern over his whereabouts.
The incident occurred just hours after his supporters publicly called on security agencies to disclose information about the lawmaker’s location.
Koimburi was reportedly apprehended as he was exiting the church premises, and during the commotion, his wife sustained injuries. Koimburi was reportedly arrested while leaving the church in Mugutha, and his wife was injured during the scuffle.
