Burundian socialite Dabijou has accused flamboyant Kenyan businessman Jamal Rohosafi of making false promises to her and her family, leaving her stranded after she travelled to Kenya to be with him.

In a recent livestream on social media , Dabijou claimed that Jamal made a series of commitments, including calling her family and assuring them that he intended to marry her and provide for her.

“My family called him because that man had already called them and said he was coming to marry their daughter,” Dabijou said. “He told them, ‘Don’t worry about anything, she will be fine. I will treat such a woman like a queen.’ My family has the records.”

She went on to reveal that Jamal allegedly restricted her social media activity, particularly discouraging her from following any of his exes.

“He didn’t want me to follow his exes on Instagram,” she claimed, adding that he was controlling and manipulative during their time together.

Dabijou further stated that after arriving in Kenya, Jamal made no arrangements for her return, allegedly suggesting she take a bus back to Rwanda when things fell apart.

“If you wanted me to go out, where was the ticket? I never asked you for anything. ‘Oh, there is no ticket, you can take a bus.’ A bus to go back to Rwanda, that’s what he wanted,” she said.

Jamal Rohosafi is yet to publicly respond to Dabijou’s claims.
