NAIROBI, Kenya – September 2, 2025 — Telegram has released a major update packed with new personalization tools and creative features, giving users more ways to express themselves on the platform.
Music on Your Profile
With the latest update, Telegram users can now add music directly to their profiles. Audio files from any chat can be saved by tapping Add to Profile in the media player or selecting Save to > Profile.
Once added, tracks appear in a slim bar beneath the profile photo. Each new addition stacks onto the previous ones, creating a personal playlist that visitors can listen to when they open your profile.
Stickers Mini App
Stickers have always been part of Telegram’s identity. The new Stickers Mini App makes creating and managing them even easier. Users can now:
- Design stickers and emoji using a built-in editor.
- Manage sticker packs directly in the app.
- View usage statistics to see which designs are most popular.
Previously, sticker pack management required the @Stickers bot. The Mini App centralizes everything in one place, making sticker creation and curation simple.
Redesigned Profiles
Telegram has also refreshed profile designs on Android. The new layout features smooth scrolling animations and aligns the look with iOS for a more consistent experience.
This redesign comes from a recent Telegram design contest, giving profiles a modern, unified appearance across devices.
Dynamic Wallpapers from Gifts
Telegram has supported custom chat themes since 2021, but the new update takes personalization further. Owners of collectible gifts can now unlock dynamic wallpapers that double as unique chat themes in private conversations.
These animated backgrounds transform chats into more stylish and personalized spaces.
More Customization Options
Other key features in the update include:
- Choosing a default profile tab such as Stories, Gifts, or others.
- Helping friends upgrade their gifts with Stars.
- Viewing a new resale value field in the Gift Marketplace that shows the estimated worth of collectibles.
Together, these features strengthen Telegram’s position as one of the most feature-rich messaging apps available.
How to Get the Update
The update is rolling out gradually. Android users can download it from the Google Play Store or directly from the official Telegram website. iOS users will find it under available updates in the App Store.
