Beauty entrepreneur Phoina has dismissed claims that she is romantically involved with car dealer Khalif Kairo after a viral video of the two sparked intense speculation online.
Kairo’s love life has once again become a subject of public debate after a clip captured him holding Phoina by the waist as she sat on a chair, the two appearing deep in conversation in a lively club atmosphere. In another angle, Phoina is seen resting her hand on Kairo’s shoulder as they continued chatting amid loud music and dancing revellers.
Speaking during an interview with Mwende Macharia, Phoina clarified that the moment was misunderstood and was not romantic.
“Ilikuwa burudani tu,” she said, insisting the interaction was innocent.
Kairo has previously made headlines over his highly publicized relationships with socialites Cera Imani and Wavinya Maria, both of which ended in dramatic breakups that fueled widespread online discussions.
Despite the buzz surrounding the viral clip, Phoina maintains that she and Kairo are not an item.
