Kenyan content creator and entrepreneur Gloria Ntazola has sparked a viral conversation after revealing that a former partner financed her extensive cosmetic surgery transformation in Nigeria.
In a detailed TikTok livestream, Ntazola disclosed that her ex-boyfriend originally provided funds intended for her to establish a physical location for her beauty business. Instead, the influencer opted to invest the capital into her physical appearance, a decision she defends as a career move for someone in the cosmetics industry.
The KSh 2.18 Million Transformation
Ntazola provided a transparent breakdown of the costs associated with the procedures, which took place in Lagos. The total expenditure for the trip and surgeries amounted to approximately KSh 2.18 million ($16,000+).
The primary expenses included:
- The Surgery: The tummy tuck procedure itself cost KSh 900,000.
- Logistics: Flight and visa costs totaled KSh 285,000.
- Luxury Recovery: Ntazola spent four days at a high-end residence in Banana Island, costing KSh 47,000 per night, followed by 16 days of hospital-based aftercare at KSh 13,000 per night.
- Lifestyle Expenses: An additional KSh 600,000 was spent on personal shopping and utilities during her stay.

The creator, who recently debuted further enhancements including lip fillers, urged her followers to be realistic about the costs of cosmetic surgery. She emphasized that “looking sharp” is a requirement for her brand and encouraged those interested in similar results to save and plan accordingly rather than seeking “budget” options.
