Kenyan-born content creator and chess champion Elsa Majimbo has advised young people to prioritise their careers while keeping their romantic relationships flexible.
In a post shared on her X account on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Majimbo urged her followers to focus on personal and professional growth, suggesting that career ambitions should take precedence over long-term romantic commitments.
“Have multiple boyfriends and let your career be your soulmate,” Majimbo wrote.
Her remarks come months after she shared a contrasting perspective on relationships and marriage, noting that the choice of a life partner can significantly influence one’s happiness or distress. In a post dated November 11, 2025, Majimbo warned that marrying the wrong person could lead to lifelong stress and unhappiness.
“The person you marry determines your misery or happiness,” she said at the time.
The outspoken creator has also recently confirmed that she does not plan to have children, stating her intention to remain child-free as she focuses on her personal goals and career.
