Media personality Muchina Malomba has announced his departure from Kiss FM, a station under Radio Africa Group, to focus on travel content creation full-time.

Muchina had been on rotation across at least three shows during his time at the station, most recently co-hosting The Morning Kiss, the breakfast show, alongside Cyd Wambui.

“I Have Quit My Dream Job”

In a heartfelt statement, Muchina revealed that leaving the station means letting go of a dream he had nurtured since childhood.

“Today as I leave one of the biggest stations in the country, I am letting go of a 20-year-old dream that I manifested right when I was an 11-year-old child. A boy just wants to travel and create content while at it. I know it sounds ridiculous. I have quit my dream job to give travel content creation a chance,” he said.

A New Chapter

His decision marks a significant career shift from mainstream radio to digital content creation, as he seeks to turn his passion for travel into a full-time venture.

Muchina now joins a growing number of Kenyan media personalities transitioning from traditional broadcasting to independent content creation in the digital space.
