A 21-year-old Kenyan forex trader, Raymond Omosa, popularly known as “Kenyan Prince,” has showcased his latest luxury acquisition — a BMW Z4 M40i Convertible estimated to cost between KSh 12 million and KSh 15 million.
The high-end sports car, finished in red, was displayed in a video circulating on social media. Notably, the vehicle lacked registration plates — a move that has become part of his controversial brand identity.
Controversy Over Missing Plates
Although Omosa was seen presenting the car rather than driving it, the absence of registration plates has drawn public attention and renewed scrutiny.
The issue echoes a previous incident in 2025 when his Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 was impounded over similar violations.
Despite past run-ins with authorities, the trader has often downplayed criticism, stating that he prioritises aesthetics over compliance.
Expanding Luxury Fleet
Omosa’s growing collection reportedly exceeds KSh 40 million in value. His fleet is said to include:
- Porsche Cayenne
- Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The addition of the BMW Z4 M40i further cements his presence in Kenya’s luxury car scene.
Plans for a Lamborghini
The young trader has also revealed ambitions to acquire a Lamborghini valued at approximately KSh 62 million later this year, signaling even bigger plans for his high-performance collection.
