Car dealer Khalif Kairo has broken his silence over the planned auction of office equipment belonging to his car dealership Kai & Karo at Diamond Plaza, reportedly over rent arrears.
In a strongly worded message shared online, Kairo dismissed criticism and said he is not ashamed of the challenges facing his business, describing them as part of the price entrepreneurs pay for ambition.
“I don’t need anyone to pity me. Men out here grow through insane storms every single day silently, and they triumph,” Kairo said.
“My Struggles Are Just Online”
The businessman acknowledged the ongoing controversy surrounding the auction notice but maintained that setbacks are normal in business.
“Only that my struggles are online. I’m not ashamed about getting auctioned, losing businesses or getting sued. This is the price of ambition, and I will happily pay it,” he stated.
Kairo further insisted that he does not need validation from critics, emphasizing his belief in his abilities and faith.
“I don’t need your validation or approval; I know the capabilities that God has given me. If you aren’t buying, spare me the noise,” he added.
Auction Controversy
The remarks come after reports that office equipment from the Kai & Karo dealership could be auctioned following an alleged directive for the business to vacate its premises at Diamond Plaza over rent arrears.
Despite the situation, Kairo has maintained that he remains focused on rebuilding and continuing his business journey in the automotive industry.
