Digital content creator Andrew Kibe has announced that anyone seeking to feature him on a podcast must now meet two strict conditions, days after attracting widespread criticism over controversial remarks he made about rapper Stevo Simple Boy during an interview hosted by comedian and media personality Sande Bush.
Taking to social media on Monday, June 29, 2026, Kibe declared that future podcast appearances would only happen if hosts agreed to pay him and allowed him to speak freely without censoring his opinions.
According to the former radio presenter, the two requirements are non-negotiable for anyone hoping to have him as a guest on their platform.
The announcement comes in the wake of mounting backlash over comments Kibe made during an episode of the Lessons at 30 podcast hosted by Dr Ofweneke.
During the interview, Kibe sparked outrage after claiming that people like Stevo Simple Boy should not be allowed to have children, remarks that many Kenyans condemned as insensitive and offensive.
Stevo Simple Boy later responded to the comments, defending his family while criticizing Kibe for dragging his child into the discussion.
The rapper maintained that disagreements should remain between adults, stressing that children should never be targeted because of their parents or subjected to criticism over their physical appearance.
Kibe’s latest announcement has continued to fuel debate online, with supporters arguing that content creators deserve to be compensated for podcast appearances, while critics say his conditions come at a time when he is still facing public scrutiny over his controversial remarks.
