Pastor Victor Kanyari Says His Children Are Now in the Care of Their Stepfather Tash

Controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari has revealed that his two children, Danny and Sky, are now back in the care of their stepfather, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash.

Kanyari shares the two children with the late gospel singer Betty Bayo, who was married to Tash before her death.

Speaking during a phone conversation with content creator Shiru wa Okaland, Kanyari claimed that the children were picked up from school after Betty Bayo had listed both herself and Tash as their legal guardians.

“They took my kids from school. Betty had written him and Tash as the guardians,” Kanyari said.

The preacher suggested that the guardianship arrangements made before Betty Bayo’s death played a key role in the children’s transfer into Tash’s care.

His remarks have sparked discussion on social media, with many expressing sympathy for the children while others debated the legal and family implications of guardianship arrangements following the death of a parent.

Neither Tash nor representatives of Betty Bayo’s family had publicly responded to Kanyari’s claims at the time of publication.
