Former radio host and former Papa Shirandula actress Jackie Nyaminde, better known as Wilbroada, has publicly acknowledged that she unintentionally caused the breakdown of her marriage.

In an interview with Buzz Central, Wilbroada claimed that, in retrospect, having constant visits from family members led to the breakdown of her marriage. She claims that at the time, she did not see anything wrong with that, but looking back, she realizes that it was a major problem.

“I also contributed to the breakup. I think by the time one thing that contributed to our breakup was that I was with my relatives all the time. My sisters were always at my house, I didn’t see a big deal with it until later on after we broke up, he mentioned it to his friend,I didn’t see that. Looking at it now I’m like, I contributed to their coming. I went overboard. I enjoyed their company but it cost me.”she said.

“I no longer entertain visitors even my relatives. People need their personal space. It’s one of the things. You have to be mentally prepared to have friends over.”

She however emphasized that her partner used to exhibit rage issues as he occasionally would freak out and get temperamental, so that wasn’t the main reason they split up.

“I opted out the moment I noticed how at times he would raise his voice and get angry in an abnormal way,” she said.

The actress, however, revealed that her son has an amazing relationship with the father and she does not prevent him to see his child.

“My son and his dad are in each other’s lives. Whether ananisaidia or not the child is his, give him a chance to see the child. There are also deadbeat mums. So do not deny a child the chance to know the other parent. It’s wrong.”

In the same interview, Wilbroda described the difficulties of co-parenting, noting that occasionally she becomes bored and chooses to raise the child alone when she feels like she is pressuring the baby’s father.
