Miss Trudy, a prominent Kenyan YouTuber married to Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya, recently faced a troubling ordeal at a US airport, resulting in her missing her flight.
Expressing her frustration, she revealed that she was not afforded sufficient time to explain her situation and lamented that this was the second time she had encountered such detention at a US airport.
Taking to her YouTube channel, Trudy candidly shared her experience, shedding light on the challenges and frustrations she encountered during her travel ordeal.
“I have just been told to sit down, no one is talking to me and the plane is about to leave do not understand. They needed a return ticket from Ghana and I told them I did not live in Ghana, they asked for an ID and I told them am married in Ghana. I showed them my marriage certificate to no avail. I am so frustrated I do not understand why this is happening to me.”
Trudy added despite living in Ghana, she has not been able to acquire citizenship.
“Foreigners do not get identification cards immediately and I explained that to them.
When I was here two days ago I passed through but Today they are frustrating me.
Living Miami is so expensive, My cards are not working.
The plane left me for no good reason, they thought my marriage was fake. “
