Kenyan musician King Kaka has taken to social media to dispel rumors suggesting a rift between him and his wife, Nana Owiti. In a video shared on his Instagram account, the ‘Dundaing’ hitmaker addressed the speculations, denouncing them as unfounded and malicious.
“I don’t clout chase, especially when it comes to family. Neither does Nana. I was not even going to address this, but the fact that it’s affecting my family, I have to,” King Kaka stated firmly.
The artist expressed his disappointment at the spread of false information, emphasizing the impact it has had on his family. He highlighted sensational claims of a death certificate and the alleged kidnapping of their children to America as particularly distressing.
“I know people get excited when it comes to content creation, and we want to say things to spice it up. Now the whole country has picked up your fake story,” he lamented.
In setting the record straight, King Kaka clarified that Nana Owiti is currently in the country, and their children are attending school, refuting any notion of an impending breakup.
“Nana is in the country, the kids are in school. I’m puzzled as to where these stories are coming from. Let’s be mindful. There are many people involved when we create these fake stories. Let’s create content, but let’s not ruin something good,” he urged.
Addressing the absurdity of some of the claims, King Kaka humorously questioned the notion of his own death certificate, reaffirming his presence and dismissing the rumors.
The rumors of their separation surfaced shortly after King Kaka’s recent birthday celebration, during which Nana had shared a heartfelt video featuring their children singing a birthday song for him. In her caption, Nana expressed warm wishes for King Kaka, emphasizing his significance to their family.
