Two people are believed to be trapped in the rubble following the collapse of a building in Fuata Nyayo estate, South B, Nairobi. The Kenya Red Cross reported that the building was in the process of being demolished when it collapsed.
“One person has been rescued, while two others are suspected to be trapped after a building being demolished collapsed in Fuata Nyayo, South B, Nairobi. Rescue efforts are ongoing,” the Red Cross stated on X.
Emergency services are currently on the scene, working diligently to rescue those still trapped. The identity and condition of the rescued individual have not been disclosed. Further details will be provided as the situation develops.
