The event held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) featured a youth concert, prayers, and the anointing of the matatu. After the unveiling, Mood paraded through the city streets, creating a standstill in traffic across key routes like Moi Avenue and Kenyatta Avenue.

The launch attracted hundreds of enthusiastic youths, signaling a vibrant return of Kenya’s urban matatu culture, which blends music, fashion, and transport into a unique cultural identity.
After the concert, the flashy matatu cruised through the CBD, escorted by supporters and fans.
Chaos as Mood Hits the Streets
The appearance of Mood in the CBD caused major disruptions and traffic jams that lasted hours. Concerned citizens took to social media to warn others:
