Flashy businessman Gor Semelango walked out of prison earlier this week after securing bail, bringing an end to the nearly four months he has spent behind bars. Semelango is facing serious accusations linked to an alleged multi-million shilling fraud involving two business partners.

According to investigators, the dispute arises from a club business deal that reportedly went sour, with the two partners alleging that Semelango defrauded them of millions. The businessman has since maintained his innocence as the matter winds its way through the legal system.

Semelango’s bail release sets the stage for a high-profile court showdown, with proceedings scheduled to resume in January 2026. The case is expected to attract significant public interest due to the businessman’s influence, wealth, and longstanding presence in Kenya’s business landscape.

As he prepares for the next court appearance, Semelango’s legal team is expected to challenge the allegations and seek to clear his name, while the complainants push for accountability in the disputed deal.
