Singer Kevin Bahati has revealed that his son, Morgan, will be joining a prestigious national school after recently sitting for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA).
In a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday, January 16, 2026, Bahati invited fans to guess which national school Morgan is set to join as he prepares to report back to school.
“It’s time to shave; it’s Morgan Bahati’s time to go back to school. Guess which national school he is joining,” Bahati wrote.
In the accompanying video, Morgan expressed excitement about transitioning to high school, saying he was making final preparations ahead of reporting day.
However, he also questioned the long-standing school rule requiring students to shave their hair, arguing that there is no proof the practice improves academic performance.
“What can I say? Am I happy or am I not happy? I don’t understand. I am going to a national school, as you all know, and there, you know, they don’t allow students to keep this kind of hair. But I wonder why Africans always have issues with hair and schooling,” Morgan said.
The announcement comes just days after Bahati’s wife, Diana Marua, celebrated Morgan’s academic success by gifting him a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro Max, drawing widespread attention online.
