Popular Kenyan comedienne Millicent Ayuwa, widely known as Dem Wa Facebook, has sparked excitement online after unveiling a fully grown baby bump in a stunning maternity photo shoot, hinting that she is expecting her first child.

In a heartfelt statement shared on Friday, January 30, 2026, the comedian described the pregnancy as a deeply personal and long-awaited blessing, calling it an answered prayer.

“I’ve always believed that some blessings arrive quietly, long before the world is ready to see them. This is one of mine,” she said. “What you see today is not a surprise to my heart; it’s a prayer I carried, whispered, and trusted God with.”

Dem Wa Facebook said she is embracing this new chapter of her life with gratitude, humility, and love, expressing appreciation for growth, grace, and the gift of life.

“A reminder that His timing is never rushed, never random, and always intentional. I’m stepping into this season with gratitude, humility, and so much love,” she added. “This is a blessing I do not take lightly.”

The announcement comes months after the comedian publicly spoke about her plans to have children with her boyfriend, while also dismissing rumours about his background.

During an interview with a local radio station on Thursday, October 9, 2025, Dem Wa Facebook clarified that she met her partner in Nairobi, not in her native Trans Nzoia County, and emphasised that they have kept their relationship largely private.

“Yes, it is my boyfriend; I cannot go wrong. And no, my boyfriend is not from my village in upcountry Bungoma,” she said. “I met him here in Nairobi. Our relationship is private.”

She further revealed that the two first became friends while she was living in Kayole, Nairobi, before transitioning into a romantic relationship after nearly one year of friendship. According to the comedienne, they have now been together for close to three years.

The maternity reveal has been met with warm messages and congratulatory reactions from fans and fellow entertainers across social media.
