Questions on Legislative Performance
The report raises fresh questions about legislative productivity in the 13th Parliament, especially at a time when Kenyans are demanding greater accountability and tangible policy outcomes from elected leaders.
While sponsoring or seconding a bill is only one measure of parliamentary engagement — alongside debates, committee work, and motions — the findings are likely to spark debate over the effectiveness of some lawmakers in shaping national legislation.
Mzalendo has consistently published attendance and participation records to promote transparency and informed civic engagement.
