Man Arrested After Deadly Daycare Attack That Killed Four Children in Kampala

A 34-year-old man, Christopher Okello Onyu, has been arrested following a shocking attack at a daycare centre in Makindye Division that left four children dead.

Suspect Gained Access Posing as Parent

According to reports, the suspect posed as a parent to gain entry into the facility.

He reportedly entered the school offices, briefly spoke with the administrator, then stepped outside, locked the gate, and launched the attack.

Four Children Killed

The violent incident occurred in the upscale Ggaba area, sending shockwaves through the community.

Teachers raised the alarm as the situation unfolded, but four children tragically lost their lives.

Attempted Escape and Arrest

The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by a security guard from a nearby church.

Angry residents gathered and tried to attack him before police intervened and took him into custody.

Police Take Control

Authorities have since launched investigations into the incident as the community grapples with the devastating loss.
