President William Ruto’s personal aide, Farouk Kibet, on Saturday led a delegation of senior political leaders to Mandera County as Kenya Kwanza stepped up efforts to rally support for the President and his administration.

The visit formed part of the ruling coalition’s ongoing political outreach aimed at strengthening its grassroots presence and consolidating support in the country’s northern region ahead of future political activities.

Farouk was accompanied by a cross-section of lawmakers drawn from different parts of the country, reflecting the administration’s broad-based campaign strategy.

Among the leaders who joined the tour were Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo, Likuyani Member of Parliament Innocent Mugabe and Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.

The delegation also included Kisii County Woman Representative Donya Dorice, Nominated Senator Betty Montet, Marsabit Senator Mohamed Chute, as well as Members of Parliament Feyzal and Mulanya.

The leaders engaged residents during the visit as they sought to mobilise support for President Ruto’s development agenda and reinforce Kenya Kwanza’s political influence in the region.

The Mandera tour is part of a series of political engagements being undertaken by senior government and Kenya Kwanza leaders across the country as the administration intensifies its grassroots mobilisation efforts.
