The political supremacy battle in the Mt Kenya region has taken a new turn after a number of popular bloggers were hired last week to take the war from the newspapers and public events to social media.
Sources have told us that the the bloggers who are led by Jubilee party Deputy Organising Secretary Pauline Njoroge met at Four Ways Hotel where they agreed to counter the emergence of Kiharu Mp Ndindi Nyoro and Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki using their influence on social media.
It was not immediately clear who sponsored the meeting but it was attended by a former Mp from Nyeri, popular UDA critic Wahome Thuku, Pauline Njoroge and a communications person from one of the political heavy weights in UDA.
The meeting agreed to enlist the following bloggers Wanjiru Linet, Mwangi Nito, Kamau Mbugua, Ndung’u Aaron, Cllr Njohi, Esther Juma, Fuata Nyuki, Judith Muthoga, Macharia Chege.
The bloggers who were promised a monthly pay of Sh50,000 have been tasked with discrediting Ndindi Nyoro and Kithure Kindiki who have in recent months emerged as political heavy weights in the Mt Kenya region.
