Super Metro Sacco is set to resume operations after the Transport Licensing Appeal Board temporarily lifted the suspension imposed by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

In an order issued on Monday, March 24, 2025, the board granted the popular transport company the green light to operate immediately.

“An interim order is hereby issued staying the execution/enforcement/operation of the decision of the respondents dated March 18, 2025, suspending the operation of the appellant herein, Super Metro Sacco Limited, as a PSV operator,” read part of the ruling by board chairman Adrian Kamotho.

Super metro operations were suspended on Thursday by NTSA.

NTSA while suspending the PSV operation said the decision was to ensure the company is compliant with road safety measures.

The suspension took effect on March 20, 2025.
