McLaren has officially launched a new line of high-performance electric bikes, introducing the Extreme 600 and Sport 600 models.

The Extreme 600 is being hailed as the “world’s most powerful trail-legal electric mountain bike”, boasting a 600W mid-drive motor that generates 161 Nm of torque, powered by a 720Wh battery. It features a full carbon fiber frame, SRAM XX Eagle AXS transmission, and an advanced suspension system with a RockShox Lyrik fork and RS Deluxe Select+ shock.

The bike comes with five power modes—Off, Eco, Trail, Sport, and Race—with the Race mode delivering up to 852W of peak power.

McLaren’s Sport series offers more versatility, with both 600W and 250W versions designed for different terrains.

All models are built with McLaren’s signature automotive engineering and will be produced in limited numbers, with prices starting at $11,950 for the Extreme models.
