ATLANTA, Georgia – A major security breach has rocked Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour after thieves broke into a rental vehicle belonging to two key production team members, stealing highly sensitive items — including unreleased Beyoncé music.
According to police reports, the incident occurred during the Atlanta leg of the tour, when Beyoncé’s choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue briefly left their 2024 Jeep Wagoneer unattended. Upon returning, they discovered the rear window smashed and multiple suitcases missing.
Among the stolen belongings were:
- Five flash drives containing watermarked, unreleased Beyoncé music
- Two MacBook laptops
- Performance plans and setlists for upcoming tour shows
- Designer sunglasses, personal clothing, and electronics
While the theft of valuables is significant, the biggest concern for Beyoncé’s team is the possible leak of unreleased music, which could derail marketing and promotional timelines for upcoming projects.
“The music files were secured with unique watermarks that allow us to trace any potential leaks,” said one of Beyoncé’s producers. “We take the protection of creative content extremely seriously.”
Utilizing Apple’s Find My app, the team was able to trace movements of the stolen devices, leading police to a suspicious silver Toyota or Hyundai Elantra. Authorities are now actively pursuing a suspect, with the Atlanta Police Department’s Larceny from Auto Unit issuing an arrest warrant.
Investigators have also obtained surveillance footage from nearby businesses and collected fingerprints at the scene to aid in the ongoing investigation.
“We’re doing everything in our power to recover the stolen property and prevent any potential leak,” a spokesperson for the Cowboy Carter tour added.
This breach comes as Beyoncé continues to captivate global audiences with her record-breaking tour, which has already drawn millions of fans and generated massive media attention.
