Police in Nyamarambe, Kisii County, have launched investigations into the death of Stephen Osman Oroko, 49, who succumbed to injuries after a fight in Nyandiwa village.

Authorities say Oroko’s body was discovered lying along a footpath leading to his home hours after a confrontation at a local shopping centre.

Police sources revealed that the motive of the fight remains unclear, and efforts to arrest the main suspect are ongoing.

“We are talking to possible witnesses to piece together events that led to the assault,” said a police officer familiar with the probe.

The body has been moved to the mortuary for post-mortem as detectives continue their search for clues.
