Popular comedian Terence Creative has issued a heartfelt apology to the Kisii community following a viral political joke that sparked mixed reactions on social media.
The humorist had shared a post jokingly stating:
“Nadhani huyo Mkisii kachukua kiti 2027, sasa nipangie hiyo Cabinet ????”
While some netizens found the post witty and relatable, others criticized it as insensitive and stereotypical, arguing that it portrayed the community unfairly.
Public Apology
Realizing the post had offended some of his followers, Terence took to his social media pages to issue a public apology.
“My apologies to the Kisii community in general about a previous post that had been posted on my Facebook page.
Naomba msamaha sana, I didn’t mean any harm. Nawapenda sana na nawaheshimu pamoja na viongozi wenu,” he wrote.
He went on to express genuine remorse, adding:
“Aki nimeshindwa kulala, sitalala hadi mnisamehe.”
