Controversial content creator and former radio host
Andrew Kibe has opened up about the reasons behind his failed marriages, admitting that he is “too free of a spirit” for traditional relationships.
Speaking on the
Netwalking podcast hosted by Wilbroda at the
Nairobi Jaffrey Sports Club, Kibe explained that his personality and outlook on life made him ill-suited for marriage.
“I’m too free of a spirit to have been a married man. I should have known that earlier, then I wouldn’t have wasted their time and my time getting into stupid relationships,” he said.
On Commitment and Relationships
Kibe compared commitment to being forced to eat at a single restaurant forever, highlighting his deep dislike for conventional marital obligations. He admitted that he had been married twice but emphasized that he would “rather die first” than marry again.
Discussing his first union, Kibe clarified that it wasn’t a true marriage but a temporary “stay,” adding:
“Even me in my stay, she’s the one who messed up, I was a good man.”
He defined a “good man” as someone who provides for his partner and is not violent, except occasionally.
Focus on Personal Projects
Currently, Kibe is fully invested in promoting his new book,
28 Commandments: A Journey into Manhood, and is traveling the country on a
70-day book tour.
“This new project is now my media, my radio station, and my everything,” he said, emphasizing that the book and related engagements are his main focus moving forward.
