Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale Loses Wife

Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is mourning the death of his wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, who died suddenly on Saturday morning, August 15, 2026.

Khalwale confirmed the death in a statement shared on his social media platforms, saying Gloria had collapsed after suffering a heart attack.

“My dear wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, has this morning suddenly collapsed and died after a heart attack,” he said.

Gloria Was Mother of Eight

Khalwale identified Gloria as the mother of their eight children.

They are Engine Kukaste Khalwale, Olivia Sabayi Khalwale, Flavia Shimuli Khalwale, Gift Atubukha Khalwale, Meliza Khamwenyi Khalwale, Velma Nasiebanda Khalwale, Sonia Inuni Khalwale, and Maura Makatse Khalwale.

Gloria’s sudden death has left the Khalwale family and those close to them mourning, with details of funeral arrangements expected to be communicated by the family.
