“Hawa gavana wananiambia hakuna pesa imechelewa lakini nimwewaambia kwanza nicheleweshe yenu kidogo nihakikishe watoto wote wako shuleni secondary, tumetuma capitation huko TVETs na tumetuma huko university ndio sababu watoto waweze kusoma.”
Ruto pledged to release the funds within a week and advocated for his pet project, affordable housing, as part of his strategy to reduce unemployment.
Assuring the region of his commitment, Ruto promised to complete all projects initiated by his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ruto concluded by addressing Central Kenya residents, expressing optimism about the economy’s recovery and assuring them of development projects.
