Detectives in Nairobi have launched investigations into the mysterious death of a woman, Eunice Mumbi, whose body was found inside her house in the Huruma area on April 28.
According to police and witnesses, Mumbi’s lifeless body was discovered lying on her bed with foam coming from her mouth, an indication that has raised suspicion over the cause of death.
The body is believed to have remained in the house for a considerable time before it was discovered. A relative who made the grim discovery rushed her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body has since been moved to the mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Police say investigations are ongoing, and they have not ruled out any possibilities pending the outcome of the autopsy.
