One of the women suspected to be part of a drugging and robbery syndicate targeting patrons at Quiver Lounge Eastlands has been traced and arrested.
The suspect, identified as Margaret Makena, was apprehended and is currently being held at Mihango Police Post in Utawala. She is expected to be transferred to Buruburu Police Station on Monday as investigations into the growing scandal continue.
Makena’s arrest follows multiple reports from victims who have come forward in recent days. At least three men have claimed they were drugged at the popular lounge and subsequently lost hundreds of thousands of shillings.
Authorities have now intensified efforts to dismantle the syndicate and are urging anyone with information related to the case to report to the nearest police station.
