Seven members of the same family, including four children and three adults, lost their lives in a devastating road accident along the Naivasha-Longonot road near High Peak School on Sunday night.
According to witnesses, the crash occurred when the driver of the family’s vehicle attempted to overtake another car but collided head-on with an oncoming trailer. The impact was fatal, killing four people on the spot.
The other three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but, unfortunately, succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities have launched investigations into the tragic accident as they urge motorists to exercise caution on the roads to prevent further loss of lives.
