Tragic Fire Claims Life of 34-Year-Old Man in Nyeri County
A 34-year-old man, identified as Anthony Mureithi, tragically lost his life on Thursday night in a devastating house fire that razed his home in Amboni, located in Mweiga, Nyeri County.
According to preliminary reports from the police, the fire completely engulfed Mureithi’s house, destroying everything within minutes. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but it was too late to save the victim.
His body was transferred to the Nyeri County Referral Hospital Mortuary, where it awaits a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death.
Cause of the Fire Still Unknown
The origin of the fire remains a mystery, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched a probe to determine if foul play or an electrical fault may have sparked the inferno.
