Police in Nakuru County have launched investigations into a shocking incident in which a man collapsed and died moments after being slapped during an altercation in the Temoyetta area.
The confrontation occurred on Saturday evening during a circumcision ceremony, where a group had gathered for the traditional session.
Victim Pronounced Dead on Arrival
According to police reports, the victim — identified as 33-year-old Ken Ngure — collapsed shortly after being struck across the face. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
His body has been moved to the mortuary awaiting a postmortem examination, which investigators hope will establish whether the slap directly contributed to Ngure’s sudden death.
Suspect on the Run
Police say the suspect involved in the altercation fled the scene immediately after Ngure collapsed. A manhunt is underway as officers work to track him down.
Authorities have recorded statements from witnesses who were present at the circumcision ceremony, and detectives are piecing together the events that led to the fatal confrontation.
