Kenya Airways has announced special repatriation flights between Nairobi and Dubai scheduled for March 4 and 5, 2026.

According to the national carrier, the Nairobi-to-Dubai flight will depart on March 4, while the return flight from Dubai to Nairobi is set for March 5. The airline clarified that these are not part of its regular flight schedule but have been arranged specifically to facilitate safe travel for citizens and UAE residents.

Special Flights Amid DXB Reopening

Kenya Airways said the repatriation flights come as part of the phased reopening of Dubai International Airport (DXB), following guidance issued by UAE authorities.

Under the current resumption plan, only a limited number of flights have been approved to operate at DXB. The airline confirmed that its special flights were cleared after securing slot approvals from Dubai Airport Management.

Advisory to Passengers in Dubai

The airline has urged passengers currently in Dubai not to proceed to the airport unless they receive confirmed departure details directly from Kenya Airways.

“Customers are also advised to check their flight status on Kenya-airways.com and update their contact details through the Manage Booking option on our website, so we can reach them directly for further updates,” the airline said in a statement.

Kenya Airways noted that the special flights form part of ongoing efforts to ensure safe and orderly repatriation amid the ongoing Middle East crisis.

Travelers are encouraged to monitor official communication channels for further updates regarding flight schedules and travel requirements.
