Key figures in Kenya’s energy sector have resigned following mounting pressure over a fuel procurement scandal that has triggered investigations into alleged data manipulation and irregularities.
Among those who have stepped down are Petroleum Principal Secretary Mohamed Liban, Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority Director General Daniel Kiptoo Bargoria, and Kenya Pipeline Company Managing Director Joe Sang.
