Police in Muthangari have arrested two teenagers after a viral video allegedly showed a group of youths using drugs inside a room in the presence of young children.

According to Muthangari OCS Duncan Otieng, the two suspects were arrested in Gatina Ward, while several other individuals seen in the video remain at large.

Police Launch Manhunt for Remaining Suspects

Investigators have launched a manhunt to trace and arrest the remaining suspects as investigations into the incident continue.

The viral footage has triggered widespread concern among parents and members of the public, with authorities now also looking into the welfare and safety of the young children captured in the video.

Police Raise Alarm Over Teenage Drug Abuse

OCS Otieng expressed concern over the increasing cases of drug abuse among teenagers in the Dagoretti area, urging parents and guardians to play a more active role in monitoring and guiding their children.

He emphasized that families have a critical responsibility in helping prevent young people from engaging in drug abuse and other harmful activities, warning that such behavior poses serious risks to both the teenagers involved and vulnerable children exposed to such environments.

Police say investigations are ongoing, with efforts focused on identifying all those involved and ensuring appropriate legal action is taken.
