Kenya is set to experience sustained rainfall across multiple regions in the coming week, according to the latest weather forecast from the Kenya Meteorological Department.

The outlook for March 25-31, 2025, predicts significant precipitation nationwide, with isolated heavy downpours expected in several areas.

According to the weatherman, the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Southeastern Lowlands, the Coast, as well as Northeastern and Northwestern Kenya, will experience sporadic but intense rainfall.

In addition to the rainfall, the forecast highlights notable temperature variations across the country.

Coastal areas, along with northeastern and northwestern Kenya, will see daytime temperatures soaring beyond 30°C. Residents in these regions are advised to take precautions against heat-related illnesses by staying hydrated and minimizing prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Conversely, the Central Highlands and the Central Rift Valley are expected to record chilly nights, with temperatures dropping below 10°C.

Authorities urge Kenyans to stay updated on weather alerts and take necessary precautions to cope with the varying weather conditions.
