Residents of a local apartment complex have been left in disbelief after their caretaker mysteriously disappeared following a reckless attempt to multiply rent money through online gambling.

The caretaker, identified as Kimani, had recently collected KSh 100,000 from tenants — funds intended for the landlord. However, instead of remitting the cash as expected, Kimani allegedly placed the entire amount on Aviator, a high-risk online betting game that has gained popularity in Kenya.

The gamble backfired.

As word of the incident spread among the tenants, Kimani was nowhere to be found. His site house was found abandoned, and attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful. His mobile phone remains switched off, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
